TaxCore — AI Tax

Reads the accounts. Applies the Act. Fills the Form C.

TaxCore is a desktop AI agent for Malaysian corporate tax. Drop it into a client’s YA folder and it does what a tax senior does — checks LHDN for rule changes, tests for IHC, analyses every add-back against the Income Tax Act 1967, rolls the capital-allowance schedule forward — then hands you a cross-checked computation workbook and a Form C that fills itself.

The Act, Kept Current

Tax law moves every Budget. TaxCore checks — before every single run.

Most tax software bakes last year’s rates into a template. TaxCore starts each computation by verifying its own rulebook against LHDN — rates, thresholds, caps and Public Rulings — and tells you if anything drifted before a single figure is computed.

  • Update check, every run — statutory rates and Public Rulings verified against LHDN’s own pages; any change is reported to you, never silently assumed.
  • The IHC gate — every company is tested for Investment Holding treatment under s60F / s60FA before the computation route is chosen.
  • MSME tiers applied automatically — 15% / 17% / 24% with the paid-up-capital and turnover conditions actually checked, not assumed.

One Run, Start to Finish

What actually happens when you press start

Not a black box — a checklist you watch tick itself. Every stage streams live in the app, and you can stop, question or redirect it at any point.

When something is genuinely ambiguous — a new material item with no prior-year precedent — TaxCore doesn’t guess. It stops, shows you the document, and asks.

Verify the rulebook

Rates, caps and Public Rulings checked against LHDN; drift reported before computing.

Test the company

IHC gate (s60F / s60FA), MSME status, source classification — the computation route is chosen deliberately.

Analyse every ledger line

Add-backs argued item by item against s33(1), s39(1)(l), PR 6/2019 and the prior-year treatment — each with its statutory rationale written down.

Roll the schedules forward

Capital allowance residuals and HP creditors brought forward from last year’s computation — not re-invented from the GL.

Adversarial review

Three independent reviewers re-check CA reconciliation, add-back completeness and arithmetic before anything reaches you.

Deliver & fill

The 14-schedule workbook lands beside your source files; the e-C Form C fills itself from the finalised figures.

What Lands In Your Folder

Real files, in your firm’s format — not a report you export

TaxCore’s output is the same Excel set your firm already signs off — live formulas, accounting-style totals, every figure traceable back to the GL line or prior-year schedule it came from.

  • Live formulas, zero errors — cells derive from cells, cross-foots are verified, and the workbook recalculates clean.
  • Your template, mirrored — sheet order, headings, fonts and total-row borders follow your firm’s house style.
  • You submit, not the machine — TaxCore prepares and fills; the review, sign-off and submission stay yours.

Judgment & Guardrails

Fast where it should be. Careful where it must be.

Speed is worthless if the number is wrong. TaxCore is built around the habits of a careful tax senior.

Stops and asks when it matters

A material item it can’t verify — a building classification, a director’s loan, an unpaid CP204 instalment — halts the run with the source document open. No silent assumptions.

Consistent with the prior year

Recurring items follow last year’s accepted treatment — it doesn’t re-litigate every account or invent new positions the file never took.

Reviewed before you see it

Three independent checkers attack the draft — CA reconciliation, add-back completeness, arithmetic — and their findings are folded back in before delivery.

On Your Machine

Client accounts never leave your office

Everything is processed locally in a workspace you choose — straight off your NAS over SMB if that’s where the files live. We don’t store your documents. Skills and MCP connect it to the software your firm already uses.
